HIEMT + Radiofrequency Technology

One Platform for Muscle Conditioning and Body Contouring

HiEmpact Pro combines high intensity electromagnetic muscle stimulation with integrated radiofrequency technology to support powerful muscle contractions and controlled tissue warming within one commercial platform.

HIEMT Muscle Stimulation

Focused electromagnetic energy generates repeated involuntary muscle contractions within the selected treatment area. Designed to support muscle activation, conditioning and improved muscle definition.

Integrated Radiofrequency

Radiofrequency delivers controlled warming to the treatment area while electromagnetic stimulation activates the muscles, supporting body contouring services for a more complete treatment experience.

2 Technologies in One Platform

HIEMT muscle stimulation with integrated radiofrequency.
The Technology

What Is a HIEMT Machine?

HIEMT stands for High Intensity Electromagnetic Muscle Trainer. The applicator generates a focused electromagnetic field that induces motor neuron depolarisation in the tissue beneath it. The muscle contracts involuntarily, at a rate and intensity the client cannot reproduce voluntarily.
Nothing touches the muscle directly. The field passes through clothing and skin without conducting current across the surface, which is the practical difference between this category and electrode based stimulation.
HiEmpact Pro adds radiofrequency to the same applicator. The RF delivers controlled warming to the treatment area while the electromagnetic field drives the contractions.

How It Differs in Practice

Technology Comparison

HIEMT Compared With EMS and TENS

Buyers searching for an EMS machine often land on three different technologies that share a category name but not a mechanism. The distinction determines what the device can be used for and who can operate it.

If you are comparing quotes, confirm which technology each quote actually describes. Some listings use EMS as a generic label across all three.

Multiple Treatment Areas

Use one platform across a range of muscle conditioning, fitness, wellness and body contouring programs.

Four Applicators

Operate multiple applicators to support efficient treatment area coverage and flexible service delivery.

Three Operating Modes

Sport, Gentle and Professional modes provide flexibility for different client programs and practitioner preferences.

Integrated Client Records

The onboard interface can store client information and retain previous treatment parameters.

Convenient Sessions

The manufacturer recommends approximately 30 minute sessions, subject to practitioner assessment and individual protocols.
Buyer Guidance

Reading a HIEMT Specification Sheet

Tesla output is the number most suppliers lead with, and it is the number buyers most often misread. Tesla measures peak magnetic flux density at the applicator surface. It does not describe how that energy is distributed through tissue, how the pulse is shaped, or how long the applicator can sustain output before thermal limits reduce it.
Two devices quoting the same peak figure can behave differently in a treatment room. Ask for the frequency range, the pulse width and the duty cycle alongside the Tesla figure. HiEmpact Pro operates at 300 microsecond pulse width across two frequency bands, 1 to 10 Hz and 1 to 100 Hz.
Applicator count affects throughput rather than intensity. Four applicators allow coverage of more than one area in a session, or two clients where your room layout and staffing support it.
We apply the same specification discipline across the range. The OptiPulse IPL system page sets out filter count, wavelength range and cooling design in the same way.

Claims We Do Not Make

Search this category and you will find suppliers stating that one session equals 20,000 crunches, that a 30 minute treatment matches a five and a half hour gym workout, or that the device produces 30,000 contractions per session.
We do not publish those figures. Contraction counts vary with frequency setting, session length and mode. Exercise equivalence claims compare two different physiological processes and are not measurable in the way the phrasing implies.
Under Australian advertising rules an efficacy claim needs evidence supporting it in the form it is made. If you advertise this treatment to the public, the claims on your own website and social media are your responsibility as the advertiser. We would rather give you specifications you can verify than headline numbers you would have to defend.

What We Publish Instead

Safety and Screening

Contraindications and Operator Screening

HIEMT is not suitable for every client. Screening should be completed before every first treatment.
Screening Area
What to Check
Implanted electronic devices
Pacemakers, defibrillators and any implanted electronic device
Metal implants
Metal implants in or near the intended treatment area
Pregnancy
Pregnancy and postpartum status per practitioner assessment
Professional scope
Any condition excluded by your scope of practice
Insurance
Any condition or client group excluded by your indemnity policy
Operator training should include documented screening procedures, applicator placement, intensity progression and record keeping. Training is included with every HiEmpact Pro.
Who can operate the device depends on your state, your professional registration and your insurer. Confirm with your indemnity provider before you advertise the service, not after.

FAQ

HIEMT Machine Frequently Asked Questions

A HIEMT machine uses a focused electromagnetic field to trigger involuntary muscle contractions in the area beneath the applicator. The field induces motor neuron depolarisation without passing current across the skin. HiEmpact Pro delivers this at 0 to 7 Tesla with integrated radiofrequency providing controlled warming in the same session.

Electrode based EMS passes current between pads placed on the skin, so intensity is limited by surface tolerance. HIEMT induces the contraction using a magnetic field with no surface current. The two are frequently listed under the same EMS label by suppliers, which is why buyers should confirm the mechanism described in any quote.

HIEMT is the generic technology category. Several manufacturers hold registered trademarks covering their own branded platforms and specific applicator implementations. HiEmpact Pro is an independent HIEMT and RF platform supplied in Australia by Aesthetics Consults and is not affiliated with any other manufacturer.

Configuration, applicator count, RF integration, warranty and support account for most of the price variation across this category. Request current HiEmpact Pro pricing and finance terms through the enquiry form and our team will provide figures for your configuration.

Abdomen, glutes, thighs, arms and calves. A pelvic floor applicator option is available. Suitability for any individual client is determined by practitioner assessment.

The manufacturer recommends approximately 30 minutes, subject to practitioner assessment and individual protocols.

Not on its own. Tesla measures peak magnetic flux density at the applicator surface. It says nothing about pulse shaping, energy distribution through tissue or sustained output over a full session. Compare frequency range, pulse width and duty cycle alongside the Tesla figure.

No electrodes, gels or disposable tips are required for HIEMT treatment. Confirm consumable requirements for any additional accessories at the point of purchase.

This depends on your state or territory, your professional registration and your insurer. HIEMT is not a licensed laser or IPL class device, so radiation safety licensing does not apply in the same way, but professional scope and indemnity conditions still do. Confirm with your indemnity provider before advertising the service.

Screening should cover implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators, metal implants in or near the treatment area, pregnancy, and any condition excluded by your professional scope or insurer. Full contraindication guidance is provided during operator training.

Delivery and installation, operator training covering device operation and applicator placement, commercial guidance on service packaging, marketing support, finance information and ongoing technical assistance.

Four applicators allow coverage of multiple areas in a single session, or two clients where room layout, staffing and your service model support it. Throughput depends on your treatment room configuration rather than on the device alone.
