Configurations

One thing before the specifications. In Queensland you must hold a possession licence before you purchase a Class 4 laser, not after it arrives. That changes the order of your buying process.

Built for High-Value CO₂ Treatment Indications

One fractional CO2 laser machine covering the treatment categories Australian patients are already searching for.

COMAX CONFIGURATION COMPARISON

Choose the Configuration That Best Fits Your Practice

All COMax fractional CO2 laser machines share the same treatment software and modes. The primary differences are laser source, scanner components and overall treatment performance helping you choose the right CO2 laser configuration for your clinic’s patient volume and treatment goals.

COMax 50W

$54,999 + GST

Recommended for: Entry level clinics

COMax 80W

Recommended for: Growing clinics

COMax Premium 60W

$89,999 + GST

Recommended for: Premium medical and cosmetic clinics

Why 60W outperforms 80W

Rated wattage measures maximum energy, not delivery precision. The Premium uses a US Coherent RF excited source, which holds output stable across a long session where glass tube sources drift as they heat. A 60W RF excited source produces more uniform microthermal columns than an 80W glass tube whose output varies between the first pass and the seventh.

Specify the Premium if your case mix leans toward scar revision, where one inconsistent pass shows in the result. The 50W and 80W handle lesion removal and lighter resurfacing at a lower entry cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

$54,999 + GST for the 50W, $64,999 + GST for the 80W, $89,999 + GST for the Premium 60W. Budget separately for room certification, licence fees and operator training hours.

In Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania, yes. Queensland requires a possession licence held before purchase plus an individual use licence for each operator. WA requires at least 100 supervised hours. NSW, Victoria, SA, ACT and NT have no cosmetic use licence, though work health and safety obligations and insurer requirements still apply.

Not in Queensland. The possession licence must be held before purchase.

It can be used in Fitzpatrick IV to VI with conservative parameters and staged sessions, but published PIH rates are high enough that patient selection matters more than device selection. For pigmentation as the primary concern, a picosecond platform is usually the better first choice.

Rated MTBF at or above 20,000 hours, subject to scheduled servicing and calibration.

Yes. Rental suits clinics validating demand before committing capital, at higher total cost over time.
