You must be a registered nurse (RN) in Australia with current AHPRA registration. Under the 2025 AHPRA Cosmetic Injectables Guidelines, nurses are required to have a minimum of 12 months full-time general nursing experience before performing cosmetic procedures. Basic aesthetics experience is helpful but not mandatory for our foundational programs.
Yes. All Aesthetics Consults training programs are designed to meet or exceed the AHPRA 2025 Guidelines for practitioners who perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures, which came into effect on 2 September 2025. Our curriculum covers mandatory training areas including anatomy, patient assessment, informed consent, complication management, and TGA compliance.
Yes. Registered nurses (RNs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) in Australia can perform cosmetic injectables under the appropriate prescribing arrangement. Under AHPRA 2025 guidelines, nurses need at least 12 months of general nursing experience, specialised training, and must operate within their scope of practice under a prescriber. Our programs prepare nurses for full AHPRA compliance.
Our training clinic is located at Suite 1101, 1/5 Railway St, Chatswood NSW 2067 — conveniently accessible from Sydney's CBD and across Greater Sydney. We also offer select programs for nurses located interstate.
